- A scorcher for Scott - Well, what a difference a tee makes. A couple of weeks ago, playing from the yellows, only 15 out of 49 players scored more than 30pts, last week it was 6 out of 27; but this week off the whites, over half the 40 strong field [21 to be precise] managed the same feat. One of them [Scott Clark] quite literally thrashed the course scoring a whopping 49pts off of 17 to win Div C by ten from Bob Lindborg [39pts] in second, who never normally does very well on this course, so well played you two. Ray Pearson led a trio of players all with 38pts in Div A and Div B was won by John O'Keefe [39pts] followed in by Paul Lavender [37pts] who has rarely played here at Khao Kheow. There were six '2's from George Bishop, Brett Wildes, Paul Sharples and Simon Spaulding bagged three! Just for the record, the C & A loops from the white tees are rated at 67.5 with a slope of just 115; perhaps it will be back to the yellow tees next week, which are rated at 70.4 with a slope of 121.
